12 days of Squish-mas

The last full day spent with Squishy before she left back home for both

of us to get back to our lives before Christmas :(

I felt so blessed to have been able to have her here for my 21st!

We didn't think it would happen...but the fates were on our side :P

How we decided to create memories before 2011 closes for good :

Early Christmas dinns at Jamie's Italian, the original venue for my 21st :(

Unfortunately, it's mega-hard to get huge group bookings here..and if you want to get in immediately

DO NOT come at peak hours ( a friend waited for 3 hours in the queue)

pear rocket blue cheese salad..moderate

crab quid ink risotto for squishy!

some thai sweet chilli parmesan pasta for jess,

hers was really good...and spicy..like nando's extra hot

i went classic and just got bolognese..

it was alright..

overall portions are huge here..but concerning the food...i'd say it

leaves your tastebuds feeling there's more to be desired

Ambience was cosy and romantic-ish...lights dim as evening approaches

We went to Pitt St's Westfield after and got our names on coke cans!

No, your name doesn't actually get imprinted on the can itself, in reality

it's printed on a shiny red sticker that blends in with the can's surface.

But t'was FOC! so no complaints there

Later I took Stash for a night tour of the lights at Sydney harbour bridge and the Opera House,

where we stopped awhile at the Opera Bar below..which was hopping with people

enjoying pre-christmas drinks! It was beautiful...and a wonderful conclusion to 

Squishy's stay I hope :)

Squishy I'm glad you got to meet all the company I've had here for the past 2 years.

And the past 12 days, it's been surreal...flew by in the blink of an eye!

It's been a whole year, and I think we made up for all that distance with this trip.

Thank you for the b'day/christmas gifts and for coming all the way here, it means alot to me!

and I love you mango crushie!
